Most people will agree that your pool water should appear “blue”, all depending on the color of your tile and the water quality. But don’t mistake that for the FINISH being blue. That is usually a sign of something bad, especially if it is a plaster pool and you have a heater with a copper/nickel heat exchanger/coil. This pool was covered with oxidized metal. The light fixtures were all brown and the stainless steel didn’t even shine through anymore. We did an acid wash, along with re-grouting the tile, and can you almost mistake it for a new pool now!!!
Started draining on Thursday AM and this is what it looked like when I left today (Monday) after running over the weekend. I pulled a glass table, several rusting galvanized pipes, brick, and other assorted trash from the bottom. Amazing!!!!!
